|
| Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October. Its aim is dedicated to educating and empowering women to take charge in their own breast health by practicing regular self-examinations and scheduling regular visits and mammograms with their healthcare provider, as well as offering information and support to those affected by breast cancer. The campaign also raises funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. | |
