Create a Graph: Visuals Made Easy
Take the data you collect from a Doodle poll (see below) and insert it into this site. Then, select your favourite type of graph, and voilà! Your graph is created for you. compare the same data using line, bar, pie, area, and XY graphs. It's a great site for helping students consider what style of graph is the easiest to understand and the best to use for the data they have.

Doodle: Easy Scheduling, Easy Choices
Don't you just hate trying to find a date and a time where everyone in a group can meet? Doodle deals with the hassle for you. Simply input the options for meeting dates and times, send an e-mail invitation to the attendees to join the Doodle poll, and attendees can submit their scheduling preferences and view others' choices. This excellent tool makes scheduling easy.
Doodle also makes it easy to create polls. What kind of sandwich do you like for lunch? Offer choices, have students vote. Now yo have great data to use for graphs, word problems, etc.

Easy Bib: Online Biography Creator
No one enjoys writing a bibliography, but this site makes it a snap. It asks for specific information about the source(s) used, and then it creates the bibliography for you. It uses MLA style for free and offers APA for a fee.

Glogster: Post Away!
You can create interactive posters with Glogster. It's fun, easy, and motivating! Use glogster for any number of announcements. For instance, you might create a class newsletter for the parents in your room. Just e-mail them the link, and they will be up to date immediately on class and school happenings. Glogster is also a wonderful fool for students to share their research about a topic in an interactive way.

Google Docs: Web-Based Documents
Google Docs is a free web-based Office program. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. You will need to register a Google gmail account to use these tools. Users can work on and share documents, spreadsheets and slideshows. they may also edit each other's content. Thsiis very helpful for committee work.
